TECHNOLOGIES

CERTIFIED HEPA FILTRATION: TRACS utilizes individually tested, certified HEPA filters that contain 80 square feet of Media. TRACS HEPA filters remove airborne dusts, pollens, animal dander, dust mite allergen and mold spores with hospital grade efficiency. All HEPA filters are individually certified to guarantee 99.99% efficiency at .3 microns and they have also been found to capture particles as small as .001 microns! The HEPA filter is mechanically sealed within the cabinet to prevent any air bypass. This allows TRACS to always operate at Top HEPA Efficiency. ALL TRACS HEPA AIR CLEANER/ AIR PURIFIER AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEMS COME WITH A CERTIFICATE OF PERFORMANCE STATING THAT EACH UNIT WAS TESTED TO PERFORM AT 99.99% EFFICIENCY AT .3 MICRONS, AS ZERO ("0") PARTICLES .3 MICRONS AND HIGHER ARE EXHAUSTED FROM THE UNIT.

HIGH DOSAGE ULTRAVIOLET LAMPS: Two medical grade NON-OZONE PRODUCING Ultraviolet lamps destroy airborne mold spores, bacteria and viruses. The UV lamp system is designed to continually bathe the dirty (inlet) side of the HEPA filter. All microorganisms will be destroyed by the powerful UV lamps. NOTE: HEPA filters left untreated by Ultraviolet Light can lead to premature HEPA filter replacement due to biological contamination of the HEPA media itself. The HEPA filter in the TRACS HEPA air cleaner / air purifier can last up to six years.

ACTIVATED CARBON WITH ZEOLITE: Three and a half pounds of activated CARBON blended with high grade natural ZEOLITE are incorporated into the Carbon Prefilter Pack to remove harmful odors, chemicals, and gases. The Pre-filter also takes out the larger dust particles and allergens to protect the more expensive HEPA filter. In having this dual purpose, the Pre-filter Packs are designed for regular replacement (as you would change the pre-filter in any air cleaner to protect the HEPA Filter); but in doing so in the TRACS fresh carbon & zeolite is continually being used so the unit's odor and chemical out gassing absorption ability is maximized. Every TRACS unit comes with a full year's supply of three Carbon-Zeolite Pre-filter Packs that are to be replaced every four months.

KEYPAD CONTROLS: TRACS HEPA air cleaner / air purifiers now utilizes a state of the art micro-processing keypad that controls air flow, the UV lamps, and it also monitors loading on the HEPA filter and the Carbon Prefilter Pack. Easy touchpad controls allow for simple fan speed changing, UV lamp on/off, and LEDs monitor UV lamps and the filters to inform when individual UV lamps need to be replaced or when filters are clogged with particulate buildup.

UNIQUE ATTRIBUTES

TRACS UTILIZES INDEPENDENT HEPA AND CARBON-ZEOLITE FILTERS: The carbon-zeolite filter and the Hepa filter are separate in TRACS units. This is IMPORTANT because carbon-zeolite filters typically become saturated with odors and out-gassing chemicals long before a Hepa filter becomes filled with dust and allergens. Carbon & Natural Zeolite acts like a sponge; it adsorbs odors, chemicals, and gases. Once the carbon & zeolite in the pre-filter becomes fully saturated it can actually release its trapped odors, chemicals, and gases back into the environment. It is for this reason that the pre-filter (with a fresh carbon-zeolite supply) should be replaced every four months. The Tracs unit is unique and economical because only the far less expensive carbon-zeolite pre-filter needs to be replaced every four months while the Hepa filter only needs to be replaced approximately once every five to six years. Separating the carbon-zeolite pre-filter from the Hepa filter greatly reduces the cost of maintaining the TRACS HEPA air cleaner / air purifier.

SUPERIOR AIRFLOW PATTERN: The key to any air cleaner is the airflow pattern that it creates. A device can utilize the best air cleaning technology in the world, but if the dirty air is not drawn into the unit from throughout the room and replaced with clean disinfected air, then the device's overall effectiveness and efficiency is limited. The airflow pattern created by TRACS is designed to produce an excellent mixing factor and clean all parts of the room. Dirty air is drawn in through the top of the unit through three intake vents. This allows for the most efficient removal of contaminated air from the normal breathing zone (3-6 feet high), as the dirty air has easy and direct access to the unit's air intake. Air then passes through the five stages of filtration before being exhausted out of the lower portion of the unit from three sides to all parts of the room. Unlike some air cleaners that unsuccessfully try to maneuver dirty air from the room via clean air exhaust, TRACS actively and aggressively removes or "vacuums" dirty air from the normal breathing zone.

EASE AND AFFORDABILITY OF MAINTENANCE: All replacement parts are easily accessed via a single back panel that is held in place with four nylon screws that can be turned by hand.

NO TOOLS ARE REQUIRED FOR NORMAL UNIT MAINTENANCE: The price of a year's supply of the TRACS Carbon-Zeolite Pre-filter Packs is often far less expensive then the cost of standard Pre-filters in other air cleaner brands. NOTE: Due to the UV lamps bathing the dirty side of the HEPA filter and the large amount of media in the HEPA filter, the lifespan of the HEPA filter in TRACS is much longer than most other units on the market. Therefore replacement costs are less. A LOT LESS!
